National Association for Gun Rights PAC Announces Endorsement in South Carolina Attorney General Race

The National Association for Gun Rights Political Action Committee (NAGR PAC) has announced its endorsement of David Stumbo in South Carolina’s Republican Attorney General runoff election on June 23, 2026.

According to the endorsement announcement, Stumbo earned the support of NAGR PAC after returning his Palmetto Gun Rights (PGR) candidate survey with a 100% pro-gun response. The organization highlighted Stumbo’s responses as evidence of his commitment to defending the Second Amendment rights of South Carolina gun owners.

The endorsement comes as gun rights organizations continue to evaluate candidates seeking to become the state’s next Attorney General.

In contrast, Attorney General candidate Senator Stephen Goldfinch declined to return the PGR candidate survey. As a result, gun rights advocates said Goldfinch refused the opportunity to go on the record with South Carolina gun owners regarding his positions on Second Amendment issues.

And Goldfinch’s anti-gun record during his time as a legislator raises even more serious questions about whether he will defend constitutional rights.

Right now is the best time for gun owners to lobby their elected officials and candidates to defend the Second Amendment, while they are listening the closest.
